Designed with the goal of redirecting patients away from emergency room visits, the re-imagined North Aurora Family Health Services center provides a hub for affordable medical, dental, mental health, substance abuse, pharmacy, and other community-based services to underserved, uninsured, and working individuals in North Aurora.

The scope of work for this project included a renovation and reconfiguration of the clinic’s pharmacy and the transformation of existing underutilized office space into a full-service provider pod with 10 exam rooms, two procedure rooms, central nurse/work station, and lab space. Construction was completed in two phases so that pharmacy could stay fully operational during the renovation.

The newly renovated and reconfigured space increases NAFHS’s operational efficiencies and capacity by 5,000 persons annually. The team delivered the project 45 days ahead of schedule and $80,000 under budget.
